Demi & The Doctor
She traveled time and space with a mad man with a blue box. Fighting Daleks, Cybermen and Gangers. It wasn’t long until The Doctor stopped seeing Demi as just a companion, but someone he could no live without. Someone he may have loved.
The dangers of traveling with him became obvious after Demi was almost killed by a dalek.
“I can’t do this anymore. You’re safe without me.” The Doctor exclaimed as he sent the Tardis to her home. A tear rolled down her cheek as the Tardis sat silent.
They both hadn’t a clue what to say to one another. The Doctor was heartbroken and so was Demi. “Go on…” he whispered, keeping his eyes on the ground. He couldn’t possibly see her cry, let alone leave him forever.
Footsteps approached him, he looked up and gazed into her eyes “Trust me, I’m The Doctor” they both let out a slight laugh at his attempt to defuse the tension and heartbreak.
The man gave her a kiss on the forehead and pulled her in a tight embrace, showing her that he didn’t want to let go. But he had no choice. It was either she stayed and soon got killed, or he would never see her again and know for a fact that she was safe.
———————————————————————————————————
It has been almost a year since they’ve seen each other. The Doctor didn’t go a day without thinking of her. But Demi soon moved on, became a singer and went on tour. “I’m a lot better now. I’m not fixed, it’s still a daily battle but I’m still on my feet, fighting those battles.” the girl exclaimed in an interview The Doctor had seen on TV.
He knew if he were to come back into her life, things would be like they were before. She would be in danger and be as unhealthy as she was at the time.
“She’s better without me.” He told himself in the silence of the Tardis. He felt as if he’d never know happiness without her in his life.
But what was the man to do?
